Many of our readers can’t believe their eyes when they first see this particular attraction. A golf course located in the heart of the financial district, it’s something of an oddity, we’ll give you that. In fact, it’s the only one of its type in zone 1, and has become increasingly popular with those looking for a little urban recreation.
From a tourism point of view, it means that you can enjoy a game of golf with a few cocktails without having to head to the capital’s outskirts. It’s a far more relaxed way to handle this activity, and adds an element of convenience that has been sorely missing in the past.
It’s fair to say that the majority of people that come here are Londoners though. As we mentioned, it’s right around the corner from several of the City’s biggest banks and as such you’ll often find high powered executives hashing out deals on its miniature greens. The number of men in the bar that aren’t wearing suits could be counted on one hand.
It does, after all, offer a perfect way to relax and unwind after a hard day at work. Spending time here is the perfect tonic for the ills of the office. As you tee off on a rooftop, the worries of the world just seem to float off into the open air…
