Imperial College Accomodation
These student halls are something of an oddity as far as hostels go. For a start, they’re actually well furnished and well looked after. The university’s subsidisation of their care really helps to maintain high standards that few would expect in places in this price bracket. It really does knock its rivals into the dust, and it’s rapidly becoming well known for the sheer excellence on offer.
Not only that, but it’s also in the highly desirable location of South Kensington. If you know anything about the capital, then you’ll know that this is among the best places to stay, though prices are normally an issue. Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Knightsbridge are just a short distance away, allowing you to access the city’s best attractions at a moment’s notice.
The one thing that we should note is that these halls do naturally come with some drawbacks. They’re not designed for large parties and really aren’t ideal for couples, as they’re generally meant to suit 1 person. If you’re there for a night or two, it’s fine, but stay longer and you can quickly find it becoming cramped and a little claustrophobic. Even so, for the price, there are few better locations available.
