As a pub on the edge of Fulham, the Atlas is always going to be somewhat pricey. If you’re looking for a cheap dive, then turn right around and head out of the postcode because there’s not much here for you. If, however, you’re looking for a friendly relaxed pub with a great atmosphere and a beautiful garden, then this may be just the ticket.
It’s rather low key as locals go, the posher version of a county pub. There are plenty of people that drink here on a regular basis, and it’s certainly not a spot that draws in the tourists like some other pubs in the area that we won’t mention. Those that it does attract are treated normally: they certainly don’t cater to visitors expressly, which is perfect for those that just want to experience an authentic slice of London life.
This little haunt is a great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy SW London in a more low key setting. Get there quickly though, because it’s already becoming rather popular and the increasing numbers may soon spoil this hidden gem if left unchecked. Sadly, we can easily see it becoming overrun in the coming years, but for now it remains one of the most relaxed ubs in the area.
